What Annateca is
Annateca is the registry of historic wines that still exist. Here you look for a bottle not to drink it, but to give it as a gift or to keep it in a collection.
The registry brings three sides together:
- collectors, who keep the bottles;
- wineries, which made them and keep their history;
- sellers, where they can be found.
We start with Piedmont, without forgetting the other regions and countries. Annateca does not sell wine.
The questions we are asked most often
Is it free?
Yes: after signing in, the collection, catalogue, registry, import and export, QR labels, API and MCP are free. The Club is paid, €5 a month, but it is not on sale yet during the closed alpha; for now access is by invitation only.
Do I have to enter 1,500 bottles by hand?
No. We import from your own file, CSV or Excel. Then you correct a little at a time.
And bottles without a label?
Enter them with «I don’t know» in the missing fields. The catalogue and people who know those wines help complete them; every confirmed help earns Merito.
Where is my data?
On servers in the European Union. You can export everything at any time, as CSV or JSON.
Do I need a new phone or an app?
No, the browser is enough. Text can be enlarged up to 150 %.
Who is behind Annateca?
A collector of historic Italian wines who lives in Piedmont.
